Beautiful and decorative, Japanese furoshiki named "Contour" in shades of yellow and black from Japanese Link Collective.
About the thoughts behind the tapestry, designer Jonathan Lawes says the following: “The design plays around with layering techniques, coming directly from my screen printed experiments. Utilizing a softer, more uplifting color palette, the design focuses on the balance of composition within the square format. "
Our furoshiki are hand printed and sewn in Japan by a family owned business with over 50 years experience in furoshiki production.
The Japanese have used furoshiki for wrapping since the 17th century, but today they are also used as scarves, light bags and as wall art. It can be hung up using an oak hanger, which can also be bought here on the site .
