Shopping on our website is safe and simple. When you complete an order at www.studiohafnia.dk , you will automatically receive an order confirmation via e-mail. When we are ready to ship your item, you will receive a new email with a tracking number.

Always make sure to check that you have entered your address, email address and telephone number correctly. If there is an error in the provided email address, you will not receive an order confirmation, notification of collection (if you have chosen local collection) nor the email with the Track and Trace number on your package.

We reserve the right for any errors in our stated prices, just as we reserve the right for sold out/discontinued items and delivery failures from our suppliers.

We do our very best to ensure that you receive exactly the item you ordered. However, we are only human and, unfortunately, simple times mistakes can happen, for which we are of course sorry.

If you find that what you have received does not match what you ordered, please send us an e-mail as soon as possible at info@studiohafnia.dk . Feel free to attach pictures.

The goods are insured during transport, so please check the contents of the package after receipt.

If you think the package and/or the contents have been damaged upon receipt, please notify us as soon as possible (and within 24 hours) at info@studiohafnia.dk , so that we can have the item's costs re-listed by the shipping company.

If there are visible dents, holes or other obvious damage to the package, please refuse receipt at the shipping company, as doubts may otherwise arise as to where the package has been damaged.

In case of suspicion of freight damage, you must:

  • Contact us by e-mail info@studiohafnia.dk
  • Send us pictures of all the outer surfaces of the package (the GLS label must be visible in one of the pictures), all internal protection/packaging and the damaged goods
  • Keep all packaging, as it can be used to document claims against the shipping company. The packaging must therefore only be thrown away when the case has been concluded.

We reserve the right to reject claims for compensation if there is no immediate response to transport damage. Thus, we do not have the opportunity to have the item's costs and the shipping price listed again at GLS, if there is no immediate response.

At Studio Hafnia, you have, in accordance with Danish law, the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received the item.

If you choose to cancel your purchase, you must return the item in the same condition and quantity as you received it. This also applies to the packaging and the labels/info signs that may be on the product.

Do you want to give something as a gift?

If you want to give something as a gift, which must only be given after the right of cancellation has expired, you can always contact us before the purchase to find out whether the right of cancellation can be extended. It can do that on some items.

If we agree on an extension of the right of cancellation because something is to be given as a gift, please note this in the comments field when you complete your order. Read more about Christmas gifts below.

How to use the right of withdrawal

You regret your purchase by clearly informing us of this. You can contact us via e-mail: info@studiohafnia.dk. Remember to state your order number at the same time.

You cannot cancel a purchase by refusing to receive the item or by failing to pick up your package at the chosen pick-up point, just as you cannot cancel your purchase by simply sending the item back (without having made it clear in advance that you would regret your purchase).

For rejected or uncollected packages, a fee of DKK 49 is charged, which corresponds to the amount we ourselves are charged by GLS. In the same way, you yourself cover the costs in connection with sending the package again (DKK 49).

Return of the item and return costs

If you have regretted the purchase of the item, you must send the item without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase (see above). The deadline is met if you return the goods before the expiry of the 14 days.

When you return the goods, you must do the following:

  • Attach a copy of your order confirmation/slip with your order number
  • Pack the item in original packaging
  • Pack the item securely so that it is not damaged during transport

As we are a small company, you must pay the postage and any other costs associated with the return yourself, and you are responsible if packages go missing or the product is otherwise damaged during transport. When you send the package back, we therefore recommend that you use a tracked and insured service, just as we recommend that you wrap the item very well. Thus, we do not compensate for returned packages that are destroyed/lost in the return process.

It is important that you note on the package that it is for Studio Hafnia, as we use a storage hotel, just as it is important that you refer to which order number and name the order relates to.

Goods must be sent directly to the above address, and thus cannot be sent per cash on delivery or to a parcel shop, delivery point, post office or similar.

It is your responsibility that the package is delivered correctly, and returned goods, delivered to a package shop, will not be picked up by Studio Hafnia, but instead returned to the customer at their own expense.

Condition of the item upon return
If the item has lost value and this is because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and way of functioning of the item, you can only get a part of the purchase price back. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item.

We recommend that you send the item back in the original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, this may lead to a decrease in the value of the item.

Refund
Once we have received your return package, we will process it as quickly as possible. If your return order meets the conditions for return, we will make sure to refund your purchase to the same means of payment that was used for the purchase (unless you wish to receive a credit card instead). We will refund the value of the item/order to you (with the exception of delivery costs).

Your refund will be processed as soon as possible, but it may take up to 5 days after the item has been received at our warehouse to be processed. Please note that your financial institution may take longer to complete the transaction.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds if the returned goods do not meet our requirements.

Christmas presents 2024

Do you want to give something as a Christmas present?
Christmas gifts (but not vintage goods and goods bought on sale) bought in the period 20 November to 22 December 2024 can be exchanged up to and including 5 January 2025. You simply note in the comments field when completing your purchase that it is a Christmas present. Goods purchased outside this period are subject to our usual 14-day right of withdrawal.

I got something as a Christmas present, I want to exchange, is that possible?
We exchange and return Christmas gifts (but not vintage items/sale items) purchased in the period 20 November to 22 December 2024 until 5 January 2025 on presentation of a receipt/order confirmation. It is described below how to return the item.

When we receive the item back, put
the money into the buyer's card, as unfortunately we cannot return the money to a different account number than the one used in connection with the purchase. If you want the money back, you must therefore contact the donor.

Do you want to get one instead
credit note, please make a note of this together with the order number when you return the item, and please also remember to enter your own email address and telephone number so that you can receive the credit note.

Exchange for another product
If you wish to exchange for another item, you must make a new purchase and send the first item back, as your invoice otherwise does not match your purchase. We hope for your understanding.

If you buy a product and there is a defect in it – for example a defect or manufacturing fault – the rules of the Sales Act apply. This means that you can either get a defective item repaired, exchanged, your money back or a discount, depending on the specific situation. It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damage-causing behaviour.

You must advertise "within a reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect. We recommend that you make a complaint as soon as possible and within 2 months of discovering the defect. It is not possible to advertise if it has been more than 24 months since you received the item.

You advertise by sending us an e-mail at info@studiohafnia.dk with the following information:

  • Your order number
  • Detailed description of the error/shortcoming
  • Image of the error/shortcoming.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your reasonable shipping costs. If the complaint is not justified, you pay the return costs yourself as well as costs for redelivering to you.

Remember that the item must always be sent in proper packaging, and we also recommend that you get a receipt for the shipment, as you are responsible for the item until it is returned to us.

It is important that you note on the package that it is for Studio Hafnia, as we use a storage hotel, just as it is important that you refer to which order number and name the order relates to.

Goods must be sent directly to the above address, and thus cannot be sent per cash on delivery or to a parcel shop, delivery point, post office or similar. In this connection, be aware of whether DAO delivers to business addresses. It is your responsibility that the package is delivered correctly, and we do not collect packages from parcel shops.

Packages that have not been collected from the parcel shop will only be treated as a return if you have specifically informed us of this before the 14 day deadline.

When collecting from the parcel shop, it is your responsibility as the customer to collect your order within the stated deadlines. If the order is not picked up within the deadline, it is automatically sent back to Studio Hafnia. In this case, you will be charged an amount corresponding to the costs associated with the return shipment (basically DKK 49). This also applies in connection with the reshipment of your order or in case of cancellation of your purchase.

You can sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of the page and receive a 10% discount on your first order. Please note that the code cannot be combined with already reduced items and other discounts, nor is it valid retroactively. The code also excludes Arita, Casa Cubista, Christina Iversen Studio, Jacob Laoru and Maison Bengal.

Purchases of goods on Studiohafnia.dk are subject to Danish law, and any dispute is settled by the ordinary Danish courts.

If you as a consumer want to complain about your purchase, please send an email to info@studiohafnia.dk . If we cannot find a solution together, you as a consumer can contact the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, Center for Complaint Resolution, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. If you live in an EU country other than Denmark, you can also contact the common European complaint portal, ODR.
