Shopping on our website is safe and simple. When you complete an order at www.studiohafnia.dk , you will automatically receive an order confirmation via e-mail. When we are ready to ship your item, you will receive a new email with a tracking number.

Always make sure to check that you have entered your address, email address and telephone number correctly. If there is an error in the provided email address, you will not receive an order confirmation, notification of collection (if you have chosen local collection) nor the email with the Track and Trace number on your package.

We reserve the right for any errors in our stated prices, just as we reserve the right for sold out/discontinued items and delivery failures from our suppliers.

All prices on Studiohafnia.dk are incl. VAT and in DKK Danish Kroner.

We do our very best to ensure that you receive exactly the item you ordered. However, we are only human and, unfortunately, simple times mistakes can happen, for which we are of course sorry.

If you find that what you have received does not match what you ordered, please send us an e-mail as soon as possible at info@studiohafnia.dk . Feel free to attach pictures.

The goods are insured during transport, so please check the contents of the package after receipt.

If you think the package and/or the contents have been damaged upon receipt, please notify us as soon as possible (and within 24 hours) at info@studiohafnia.dk , so that we can have the item's costs re-listed by the shipping company.

If there are visible dents, holes or other obvious damage to the package, please refuse receipt at the shipping company, as doubts may otherwise arise as to where the package has been damaged.

In case of suspicion of freight damage, you must:

  • Contact us by e-mail info@studiohafnia.dk
  • Send us pictures of all the outer surfaces of the package (the GLS label must be visible in one of the pictures), all internal protection/packaging and the damaged goods
  • Keep all packaging, as it can be used to document claims against the shipping company. The packaging must therefore only be thrown away when the case has been concluded.

We reserve the right to reject claims for compensation if there is no immediate response to transport damage. Thus, we do not have the opportunity to have the item's costs and the shipping price listed again at GLS, if there is no immediate response.

At Studio Hafnia, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days, in accordance with Danish law. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received the goods.

If you choose to cancel your purchase, you must return the item in the same condition and quantity as you received it. This also applies to the packaging and any labels/information signs that may be on the item.

Do you want to give something as a gift?

If you are giving something as a gift that must be given after the right of withdrawal has expired, you can always contact us prior to purchase to find out if the right of withdrawal can be extended. This is possible for some items.

If we agree to an extension of the right of withdrawal because something is to be given as a gift, please note this in the comments field when completing your order. Read more about Christmas gifts below.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal

You can cancel your purchase by clearly notifying us. You can contact us via email: info@studiohafnia.dk. Remember to include your order number.

You cannot cancel a purchase by refusing to receive the item or by failing to pick up your package at the selected pickup location, just as you cannot cancel your purchase by simply returning the item (without having notified us in advance that you would cancel your purchase).

For rejected or uncollected packages, a fee of 49 DKK will be charged, which corresponds to the amount we are charged by GLS. Similarly, you will cover the costs of resending the package (49 DKK).

Return of the item and return costs

If you have regretted your purchase of the goods, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to regret your purchase (see above). The deadline is met if you return the goods before the expiry of the 14 days.

When you return the goods, you must do the following:

  • Attach a copy of your order confirmation/receipt with your order number.
  • Pack the item in original packaging
  • Pack the item securely so that it is not damaged during transport.

As we are a small business, you will be responsible for postage and any other costs associated with the return, and you will be responsible for any lost or damaged packages during transit. When returning your package, we recommend that you use a tracked and insured service, and that you pack the item very well. We will not compensate for returned packages that are damaged/lost in the return process.

It is important that you note on the package that it is for Studio Hafnia, as we use a warehouse, and it is also important that you refer to the order number and name the order relates to.

Goods must be sent directly to the above address, and cannot be sent cash on delivery or to a parcel shop, delivery point, post office or similar.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the package is delivered correctly, and returned items delivered to a parcel shop will not be picked up by Studio Hafnia, but will instead be returned to the customer at their own expense.

Condition of the item upon return
If the item has lost value because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, you can only get a partial refund of the purchase price. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item.

We recommend that you return the item in the original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may result in a decrease in the value of the item.

Refund
Once we have received your return package, we will process it as soon as possible. If your return order meets the conditions for return, we will refund your purchase to the same payment method used for the purchase (unless you wish to receive a credit note instead). We will refund the value of the item/order to you (excluding delivery costs).

Your refund will be processed as soon as possible, but it may take up to 5 days after the item has been received at our warehouse to be processed. Please note that your financial institution may take longer to complete the transaction.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds if the returned items do not meet our requirements.

Christmas gifts 2024

Do you want to give something as a Christmas present?
Christmas gifts ( excluding vintage items and items purchased on sale) purchased between November 20 and December 23, 2024 can be exchanged up to and including January 5, 2025. Simply note in the comments field when completing your purchase that it is a Christmas gift. Items purchased outside of this period are covered by our usual 14-day right of withdrawal.

I received something as a Christmas present that I would like to exchange, is that possible?
We will exchange and return Christmas gifts (excluding vintage/sale items) purchased between November 20 and December 23, 2024, and until January 5, 2025, upon presentation of a receipt/order confirmation. How to return the item is described below.

When we receive the returned item, we will
the money to the buyer's card, as unfortunately we cannot return the money to any account number other than the one used in connection with the purchase. If you want the money back, you must therefore contact the gift giver.

Would you like to get a
credit note, please note this along with the order number when you return the item, and please remember to include your own email address and telephone number so that you can receive the credit note.

Exchange for another item
If you wish to exchange for another item, you must make a new purchase and return the first item, otherwise your invoice will not match your purchase. We hope for your understanding.

If you buy a product and it has a defect – for example, a defect or manufacturing error – the rules of the Danish Sales Act apply. This means that you can either have a defective product repaired, exchanged, your money refunded or a price reduction, depending on the specific situation. It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other harmful behavior.

You must make a complaint “within a reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect. We recommend that you make a complaint as soon as possible and within 2 months of discovering the defect. It is not possible to make a complaint if it has been more than 24 months since you received the item.

You advertise by sending us an email at info@studiohafnia.dk with the following info:

  • Your order number
  • Detailed description of the error/defect
  • Picture of the error/defect.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your reasonable shipping costs. If the complaint is not justified, you will pay the return costs and the costs of redelivery to you.

Remember that the item must always be sent in proper packaging, and we recommend that you receive a receipt for the shipment, as you are responsible for the item until it is returned to us.

In this connection, please be aware of whether DAO delivers to business addresses. It is your responsibility to ensure that the package is delivered correctly, and we do not collect packages from parcel shops.

Packages that have not been picked up at the parcel shop will only be treated as a return if you have specifically informed us of this within the 14-day deadline.

When picking up at a parcel shop, it is your responsibility as a customer to pick up your order within the stated deadlines. If the order is not picked up within the deadline, it will automatically be sent back to Studio Hafnia. In this case, you will be charged an amount corresponding to the costs associated with the return shipment (basically 49 DKK). This also applies in connection with re-sending your order or canceling your purchase.

If your order has been returned by GLS, you can have it sent again quickly and easily by purchasing shipping on our website here . Please note which order it is in the comments field when completing the purchase.

You can sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of the page and receive a 10% discount on your first order. Please note that the code cannot be combined with already discounted items and other discounts, and it is not valid retroactively. The code also excludes Arita, Casa Cubista, Christina Iversen Studio, Jacob Laoru and Maison Bengal.

Purchases of goods on Studiohafnia.dk are subject to Danish law, and any dispute is settled by the ordinary Danish courts.

If you as a consumer want to complain about your purchase, please send an email to info@studiohafnia.dk . If we cannot find a solution together, you as a consumer can contact the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, Center for Complaint Resolution, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. If you live in an EU country other than Denmark, you can also contact the common European complaint portal, ODR.
