Crisp Sheets was founded in Amsterdam in 2014. It started as a personal quest to find the perfect bedding. When founder Lara Ourtane moved into her new apartment, she spent a lot of time renovating and finding special things for her home. The only thing she just couldn't find was bedding that suited her taste. It was when she began to visualize how the perfect bedding would look and feel that the idea for Crisp Sheets was born. From there, Lara Ourtane formed her own ideas and began to determine what kind of technique could give the bedding that crisp touch.
The bed linen from Dutch Crisp Sheets is woven in a special technique that gives the textile a unique and crisp feel. The crisp cotton feels soft and maintains a "freshly made bed" feel at all times with no ironing required. The factory where the bedding is produced is OEKO TEX certified and has an A rating by the BSCI committee.
