Design by Teruhiro Yanagihara
The TY Palace Plate was created by Teruhiro Yanagihara and originally designed for the prestigious Palace Hotel Tokyo in 1961. Its chrysanthemum-inspired form has since become a recognizable piece of Japanese porcelain with timeless elegance.
Timeless yet practical elegance
Made from unglazed porcelain based on crushed stone, the TY Palace Plate is both durable and resistant to stains from citrus, root vegetables, and oils. The plate is dishwasher safe and perfect for everyday use as well as festive occasions.
Sizes and versatile uses
Available in three sizes (11 cm, 16 cm, and 22 cm). Use this flower-shaped grey plate for serving, as a decorative piece, or even for storing jewelry and small items – a little work of art in itself.
