Hand-blown glass that possesses a unique lightness—both in its appearance and in the way it is made
The Story Behind Ichendorf Milano
The history of Ichendorf Milano began in the early 1900s in the small German town of Quadrath-Ichendorf, near Cologne.
In the 1990s, the brand moved to Milan, Italy’s design capital (hence the name Ichendorf Milano). By combining traditional Italian glass craftsmanship with modern design, Ichendorf continues to innovate by collaborating with the best contemporary Italian designers.
Today, Ichendorf Milano is known for its mouth-blown glass, where every single piece is shaped by hand. This applies to everything from pitchers and teapots to mugs and drinking glasses, where small variations in shape and air bubbles bear witness to the process behind them.
The Elegant and Functional Glass
A Curated Selection
At Studio Hafnia, Ichendorf Milano is part of a curated selection where mouth-blown glass and thoughtful design coexist side by side.
The focus here is on objects that can be used in everyday life while also lending the room a subtle, visual character—without losing touch with the craftsmanship from which they originate.
