Detra is an iconic shelving system originating in 1957, designed in Switzerland and produced in Denmark today. Known for its clean construction, industrial expression and endless configuration possibilities, Detra consists of four core elements – wall rail, lower bracket, upper bracket and shelf – creating a flexible and long-lasting modular system.

Detra is developed for environments where functionality and durability are essential. The system is used in private homes as well as hotels, restaurants, retail stores, offices and institutions. Numbered mounting holes, adjustable brackets and a wide range of shelf materials allow you to customise the system to both aesthetic and practical needs.
Premium Materials Designed to Last
The wall rails are made of durable aluminium, the lower brackets of pressure-cast zinc, and the shelves are available in materials such as oak, smoked oak, curlet aluminium, metal, laminate, brass and glass. This combination results in a visually light yet extremely strong system suitable for professional use. Depending on configuration, shelves can support up to 80–110 kg.

The Detra system adapts effortlessly to any room: kitchen, living room, hallway, office, bathroom, children’s room or workspace.
