Emma Heegaard is a trained product designer from KADK and works widely within the design field with a special love for form, colors and materials. Emma Heegaard's universe is organic and colorful, and her aim is to contribute to the small joys found in a piece of unique and sculptural craftsmanship. Emma Hegaard herself says about her work: "For me, ceramics is an experimental free space, where there is room to be intuitive and play. I often use this approach as part of my design process, also when I work with more classic product design in other materials The process is a mixture of researching and finding inspiration, making sketches in both drawing and clay and trying different idioms and expressions - the process from idea to product is never chronological."
