Swedish World of Craft, formerly known as Afroart, was founded in 1967 and has since the beginning represented handicrafts and folk art from countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. World of Crafts designers collaborate with artisans in several countries with the goal of highlighting and developing traditional crafts to create new jobs in regions where crafts are an important source of income. World of Craft imports directly from artisans and through organizations associated with the WFTO - World Fair Trade Organization.
