Kintsugi Repair Kit | Gold, silver or copper
Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese technique in which gold glue is used to repair broken ceramics and porcelain. Instead of hiding the fact that one's cup, mug, plate, bowl etc. is broken, you highlight the damage and see the beauty in the imperfect.
The Kintsugi set with glue from Dutch Humade is available in gold, silver and copper, and there is enough glue in each set to repair up to 10 products, depending on the size of the product. The set can be used on almost all hard materials, such as glass, wood, marble, hard plastic and of course ceramics/stoneware/porcelain.
The set includes:
- Step by step guide with detailed pictures
- Two-component glue
- Putty to fill in missing pieces
- Gold, silver or copper powder
- Bamboo stick and brush
- Gloves
Be aware that the glue must dry for 48 hours and that the products you have repaired are sensitive to high temperatures and therefore cannot be put in the dishwasher or microwave.
