Beautiful and decorative ceramic plate/dish from the Romanian town of Horezu. Crafted by skilled local artisans, each plate is carefully wheel-thrown and hand-painted, giving it a unique character and beauty. No two plates are exactly alike, and the technique is so exceptional that it has been recognized as part of UNESCO’s cultural heritage.

As an extra mark of authenticity and quality, each plate is subtly engraved with the Studio Hafnia logo on the side.

Available in multiple sizes and suitable for serving food (food-safe). These plates make your table setting both unique and personal. They are also beautiful as decoration on a table or shelf, and thanks to the small holes on the back you can add a cord and hang them on the wall as art.

Each plate is a unique piece of craftsmanship – shaped, painted and glazed by hand using traditional methods. This means that variations in size (up to about 1 cm), colour and pattern are part of its charm and not imperfections. The meeting between the clay and the many layers of colour may create fine, crackle-like lines in the glaze; these are natural and do not affect the function of the piece.
