Handcrafted Japanese wall tapestry (noren) made from textile hemp by the renowned weaving studio Nagano Senshoku in Kyoto Prefecture.
This piece features a refined half-circle motif (“Hanen”) in beautiful shades of khaki green and blue – a symbolic and minimalist shape that brings calm, balance, and harmony to any room.
The fabric is hand-dyed using the traditional Yuzen technique, which adds depth of color and a subtle, vibrant finish. The tapestry can be used as a room divider, in doorways, or simply as decorative wall art – and it comes complete with a round wooden rod for hanging, making it ready to display right away.
Each noren is carefully handmade, and slight variations in color and texture are part of its unique, artisanal character.
Produced in small batches by Madame Nagano, who is dedicated to preserving high-quality Japanese craftsmanship.

Care Instructions | As the fabric is hand-dyed, washing is not recommended. If necessary, gently hand wash and lay flat to dry. Do not wring or fold the fabric, as this may leave permanent marks. Once fully dry, it may be steam-ironed with care.
