A charming vintage Kokeshi doll with a rounded body and a serene facial expression.
The face is delicately painted with arched brows, almond-shaped eyes, and a small mouth, creating a calm and friendly aura. The hair is depicted in deep black with a red crest on the forehead, while the crown is decorated with concentric circles in red and black.
The body is richly decorated with hand-painted floral motifs: a large stylized lotus in the center with additional blossoms and leaves around the base. These red and black patterns, accented with green, stand out beautifully against the warm natural wood.
The underside bears the artist’s signature in Japanese characters – a guarantee of authenticity and craftsmanship.
