Verk Shelf System V.NA.01 (Medium), designed by Swedish designer Nils Ahrenberg, is both practical and aesthetic in its expression. The shelf works beautifully as a room divider in the middle of a space, as a sideboard along a wall, or for storage and display of books, ceramics, and objects.

The design started unexpectedly as a school project but quickly evolved into a fully realized piece of furniture that balances function and poetry. A superbly crafted piece in solid Swedish birch, where simple construction meets a light, calm form.

The shelf can be ordered either untreated or treated with natural linseed oil, which highlights the grain of the wood and gives a warmer tone.
