Japanese Wall Hangings and Noren – Tradition and Modernity

Our wall hangings (noren) work both as decorative wall art and as functional textile dividers. Hand-printed fabrics add calm, color and structure to the wall – and can also improve the acoustics in rooms with hard surfaces. Explore our full selection of Japanese wall hangings and noren.

Exclusive Noren by Madame Nagano (Nagano Senshoku)

Within the collection you will also find handcrafted noren made of hemp by Madame Nagano at the traditional weaving house Nagano Senshoku in Kyoto Prefecture. Each piece is hand-dyed using the traditional Yuzen technique, creating deep and vivid color saturation. Choose between the classic Hanen motif in khaki green and blue, or the striking color combinations of red & blue and grey/black & blue. All noren are delivered with a wooden rod, ready for hanging.

Furoshiki from Link Collective – Graphic Textile Art

The Japanese furoshiki from Link Collective unite traditional craft with modern graphic design. Beautiful as wall textiles, they can also be used flexibly in everyday life.

Bamboo Fans from Vietnam – Japandi Lightness and Natural Form

Our bamboo fans are handmade by skilled artisans in Vietnam. Each fan includes a string on the back for easy hanging and comes in two sizes (approx. 80 cm100 cm, 120 cm and 150 cm) and in multiple colors: natural, yellow, blue, brown, grey, blue/grey and pink. Hang a single large fan above the sofa – or combine several fans for a graphic, organic and Japandi-inspired look.

Horezu Ceramics – Romanian Tradition and Hand-Painted Wall Art

The collection also includes unique plates and bowls from Horezu, Romania, where the ceramic tradition is recognized by UNESCO as part of the world’s cultural heritage. Each plate and bowl is wheel-thrown and hand-painted by local masters, making every piece one of a kind.

Horezu ceramics are not only functional tableware but also striking wall art. Hang them individually or in clusters on the wall, or use them as decorative objects on shelves, tables or in the kitchen. Available in several sizes (from approx. 13 to 27 cm) and food-safe, they can be enjoyed both at the dining table and as artistic wall hangings.

Laoru Laoru – Ceramic Face Fragments with Character

The Danish artists Laoru Laoru create sculptural ceramic face fragments – handmade in Aarhus and glazed in shades such as AntiqueWhite, CopperGreen, CrystalGreen and WarmSand. The fragments work beautifully as single wall objects or combined into a larger artistic wall composition.

Mobiles by Haptic Lab – Sailboat Kites with Poetry and Movement

The iconic sailboat kites from Haptic Lab bring lightness, movement and a maritime feeling to any room – perfect for the living room, children’s bedroom or a creative workspace.

Koi Koinobori Fish – Japanese Symbolism and Hand-Painted Expression

Koi Koinobori fish symbolize strength, luck and family bonds in Japanese culture. Each fish in our collection is hand-painted on sturdy washi paper and produced in limited editions. Available in blue, black and red, they make timeless wall decorations for the living room, office or children’s room.
