The Christmas Kantha Bow Ornament is made from vintage kantha blanket leftovers and beautifully decorated with an embroidery of a red bow and sparkling lurex along the edge. Perfect for decorating a joyful Christmas tree or spreading Christmas spirit throughout your home.
Each year you can use this ornament again to create a warm and festive atmosphere. The fabric is made from kantha cuttings – leftover pieces from the production of Sissel Edelbo’s upcycled kantha blanket garments. The kantha embroidery technique gives old cotton saris new life and is characterized by rows of small, continuous stitches – a method used in India for centuries, especially in rural areas.
Because of its upcycled nature, variations such as different colors on the back, fabric patches, small stains, or extra stitching may appear. These details are part of the ornament’s unique charm.
