Verk Armchair V.JW.01 – Designed by Joacim Wahlström

The Armchair V.JW.01 is a contemporary interpretation of a classic lounge chair, crafted with uncompromising attention to material, proportion and longevity. Designed by Swedish designer Joacim Wahlström for Verk, the chair combines solid Swedish oak with 5 mm thick, self-supporting, vegetable-tanned leather.

The seat and back are constructed in untreated, high-quality leather that patinates beautifully over time. Both elements can be tightened and replaced, allowing the chair to age gracefully and remain functional for decades. The armrests and frame in solid oak highlight the precise carpentry details that define Verk’s design language.

With its clean, architectural silhouette, the armchair works as a sculptural standalone piece yet pairs effortlessly with other contemporary interiors. A refined and enduring piece of Swedish craftsmanship.
