Christina Iversen Studio creates handmade Danish ceramics inspired by the sea – from iconic conch cups to mussel plates, vases and egg cups.

Welcome to Christina Iversen Studio – a universe rooted in sea therapy and a love for Denmark's west coast. Scandinavian aesthetics and Danish craftsmanship meet in ceramic pieces designed for calm, presence and everyday pleasure. In collaboration with ceramicist Dorte Kristoffersen, the studio translates the sea's organic forms – conchs, oysters and soft waves – into timeless, handmade ceramics.

You are always welcome to experience the collection in our showroom in Frederiksberg, where you can see and feel the ceramics and take them home with you – a sensory extension of the universe.

Conch cups – with and without handle

The iconic conch cups in ceramic are created as a sensorial pause by the shoreline. Explore two variants: Conch Cup I with handle and Conch Cup II without handle. Both highlight the sea's organic lines and are perfect for coffee, tea, matcha and cocoa.

Espresso cups and cockle cup – compact design, big character

In the same sculptural language you will find the espresso cup in porcelain and the cockle cup – small sculptural pieces for espresso and macchiato, shaped by the same sea-inspired aesthetic.

Mussel plates, dinnerware and conch bowls

For the table, discover shore-inspired serving pieces: mussel dinner plate/platter, mussel saucer/side plate and conch bowls – forms drawn from the coastline that elevate both weekday dinners and festive settings.

Oyster salt cellars and jewellery dishes

The small oyster-shaped salt cellars double beautifully as jewellery dishes – functional and sculptural at once, like tiny fragments of the sea at home.

Conch vases – sculptural ceramics

Conch vases bring the sea's movement into the room and work both as flower vases and as standalone ceramic sculptures.

Conch egg cups

The delicate conch-shaped egg cups give the breakfast table a calm, poetic touch – a small daily dose of sea therapy.

Jugs and milk jugs

Sky-inspired milk jugs with a light, playful expression come in white/cream glaze and speckled glaze. The larger Conch Jug takes the conch form all the way up to sculptural scale – beautiful as a jug and as an object in its own right.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ceramic handmade?
Yes. Every piece is handmade in Denmark in collaboration with ceramicist Dorte Kristoffersen. Small variations in shape and glaze are a natural part of the expression – not a flaw.

Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?
The ceramics are glazed and dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to keep the glaze at its best for as long as possible. Avoid the microwave for decorated pieces.

Can I see the ceramics in person?
Yes – the entire collection is on display in our showroom in Frederiksberg, where you can see, feel and buy it on the spot.

How quickly do you ship?
Items in stock are usually dispatched the same or the next working day.

The collection springs from the sea – a reminder to slow down, find calm and make room for everyday enjoyment.
