Vintage Murano Vase with Lid in Pink with Multicolored and White Stripes | H25 cm
Elegant vintage Murano vase from the 1970s in a clear pink base tone with vibrant, swirling multicolored and white stripes in blue, green, and opalescent glass. The form is harmonious and sculptural, with soft organic curves, a slightly tapered neck, and a distinctive lid that gives the piece its classic Murano silhouette.
The vase is designed as a classic Murano potiche (decorative lidded vessel), meaning it can be used both as a sculptural container with its lid and as a vase without the lid – beautiful on its own or with flowers.
The vase is mouth-blown in Italy and built up in several layers of glass, creating a delicate depth and a subtle opalescent glow in the surface. The embedded colored stripes wind elegantly through the glass, giving each angle its own expression. A refined statement piece that works equally well as a solo object or alongside other Murano pieces.
The piece is signed on the base by the Murano glass artist and still retains its original label confirming its origin.
