A little bear with grey curly hair and a pink hand-knitted cardigan, holding on tight to a red Christmas present tied with red and white baker's twine. The ornament is hand-felted in Nepal from soft wool, measures approx. 12 cm and comes with a white hanging loop, ready for the Christmas tree, a branch or the window.
The bear is designed by Swedish World of Craft (formerly Afroart) and made under fair trade conditions by skilled artisans in Nepal. Because every figure is felted by hand, colours and details vary slightly from piece to piece, which is exactly part of the charm. It makes a lovely hostess gift, a sweet advent gift, or the start of a new tradition where a new figure joins the tree every year.

How do I care for wool Christmas ornaments?
Store the figure dry after Christmas, ideally in a box with tissue paper, and it will keep its shape for many years. Dust can be gently brushed off with a soft brush. The figure should not be washed.
Is the bear a toy?
No, it is a decoration and not intended as a toy for small children, as it has small parts and a hanging loop.
