A Copenhagen design classic created by architect Lars-Erik Ejlers. The iconic pendant lamp, where classic Danish design meets a sculptural and distinctive expression, was designed in the 1990s and relaunched by Fripon in 2025.
The Filosof lamp is crafted by Danish artisans using a traditional metal-spinning technique. This manual process gives each lamp the attention and care it deserves, resulting in a unique character and a visible sense of quality.
The Filosof lamp is a compact pendant featuring three metal shades that add character and elegance to any space. It is well suited above a kitchen island, a smaller dining table, or in a cosy seating area.
The lamp is available in two versions: the original model in copper and brass, as well as a newer edition featuring nickel-plated shades, giving the classic pendant a cool, silvery appearance.
