Fish & Fish Glass Carafe in Green – Paola Navone x Serax
Fish & Fish is one of Serax' most iconic collections – designed by the Italian designer Paola Navone. The carafe is shaped like a herring, the little shiny fish from the Baltic Sea, and cast in solid pressed glass with distinct mould seams and a texture you can feel. The inspiration comes from 1930s American pressed glass, and the result is a piece that is equal parts functional art and sculpture.
The green colour lends a warm, nostalgic glow to the table. Use the carafe for water, wine, juice or an aperitif – or let it stand as a decorative object, long after dinner is over. At 85 cl it is both generous and elegant.
Many of Serax' designs are handcrafted, and small variations may occur. These are not flaws, but part of the unique craftsmanship behind every piece.
