Beautiful and decorative, Japanese furoshiki named "Arcs" in shades of red and white from Japanese Link Collective.
The designer Tilma Zitzmann says the following about the thoughts behind the tapestry: "The square furoshiki format is a great counterpart to this composition of circles and semi-circles. The overlapping forms build up into gradually smaller and darker shapes, creating a sense of spiralling movement."
Our furoshiki are hand printed and sewn in Japan by a family owned business with over 50 years experience in furoshiki production.
The Japanese have used furoshiki for wrapping since the 17th century, but today they are also used as scarves, light bags and as wall art. It can be hung up using an oak hanger, which can also be bought here on the site .
