Nomi - Scandinavian Kitchen Design

Nomi is a Swedish design brand from Stockholm, created by a small team with a passion for food and design. The brand rethinks modern kitchenware through Scandinavian design and simple, distinctive forms.

Nomi was founded with the ambition to challenge traditional kitchenware and create products that combine design, quality and the joy of cooking.

Kitchen Knives with Character

Nomi began developing its first product, a Santoku knife, in 2023. Since then, the collection has expanded to include the Baby Santoku and a bread knife.

Santoku

The versatile Santoku knife is designed for slicing, cutting and chopping. Its simple geometric form is combined with a handmade bio-resin handle, available in marbled patterns and a range of colours.

Baby Santoku

The Baby Santoku is a smaller and lighter kitchen knife, designed for precise tasks such as cutting garlic, lime, ginger and small vegetables. It can also be used for larger tasks such as trimming meat.

Bread Knife

The Bread Knife is Nomi’s take on the classic bread knife. Its 28 serrations make it easy to cut through both crisp and soft bread without crushing it, and the knife can also be used for baked goods and tomatoes.

Bio-resin and Steel

The knives are assembled by hand in Stockholm, combining craftsmanship with modern materials. The handles are made from bio-resin, which is partly composed of plant-based materials, while the blades have a hardness of 62 HRC and a lightly sandblasted finish. The Nomi logo is engraved into the steel.
