Verk Stool V.JS.01 – Johan Skoogh
Verk Stool V.JS.01 is a multifunctional stool designed by Swedish industrial designer Johan Skoogh for Verk. V.JS.01 is a flexible piece of furniture with multiple uses – it can function as a stool, side table, pedestal, or work surface.
The focal point of the design is the meeting between the top and base, where a visible dovetail joint highlights both the craftsmanship and the logic of the construction. This distinctive detail gives the stool an honest and sculptural expression that works equally well as a functional everyday object and as a statement piece in the interior.
The stool is crafted from solid Swedish pine and is available either untreated for a raw, natural expression or finished with natural linseed oil for a warmer tone and a more durable surface that develops a beautiful patina over time.
