This vintage Kokeshi doll from Japan stands 24.5 cm tall and is a beautiful example of traditional craftsmanship in the Naruko style. The slender, cylindrical body is decorated with a vertical row of stylized red flowers, painted with soft brushstrokes in a rhythmic, symmetrical pattern. Double red stripes at the top and bottom add balance and frame the overall design.
The face is more expressive than many other Kokeshi dolls, featuring open eyes, high-arched brows, and a small, gentle smile. The black hair is parted in the center and flanked by red floral-like accents, echoing the decoration on the body and unifying the color palette.
