The wool comes from the rare Sartuul sheep, a nomadic breed that roams the Mongolian steppes. The fibres are sourced through the acclaimed Green Gold Project – a Swiss development initiative that supports local herders in preserving their traditional lifestyle and promoting sustainable fibre production rooted in Mongolian handicraft.
Produced in Nepal, this cushion combines Scandinavian design sensibilities with deep cultural and material roots.

Aiayu – Sustainable Luxury with Soul
Aiayu is a Copenhagen-based brand founded in 2005 by designer Maria Høgh Heilmann and CEO Maria Glæsel. The name means “soul” in the Bolivian Aymará language, reflecting Aiayu’s core values of responsibility, timeless design, and natural materials.
