Ceramic holds the heat longer than glass, so the tea stays warm throughout the pot. Small variations in glaze and line are part of the craft – no two pots are quite alike. The filter lets you brew loose leaves directly in the pot, and the clear glass lets you watch the tea steep and the colour develop.
